Isanti Family Dental

Our team has been collaborating with Isanti Family Dental, HJS Architects, BJ Baas Builders, the City of Isanti, and several other consultants on this new construction project in Isanti, Minnesota. This Project includes a 5,550 square foot building and grading of the surrounding area to manage the drainage of the parking lot. The building is fully ADA accessible and a transportation analysis was conducted to best serve the site. Construction was completed in 2022.

Challenges

Site is located a near a busy intersection in Isanti on Highway 65 and surrounded by vehicular circulation issues.
Site will be visited and used by a variety of people and will need to be accessible for all.

Solution and Results

Our team provided the necessary and value-added services including the site analysis, stormwater modeling, civil engineering, regulatory assistance, ADA accessibility modeling, bidding support and the ongoing construction observations to help complete this project in 2022. We simplified the local streets to allow for better vehicular circulation and less impermeable surfaces. We also placed the parking stalls closer to the primary entrance of the building to allow easier ADA accessibility.

Redesigned the surrounding vehicular circulation by reducing the amount of asphalt and concrete paving and eliminated the one-way traffic.
Parking stalls are closer to the primary entrance of the building and all entrances are fully ADA accessible.
